Welcome to New Life Pentecostal Church
We are a Pentecostal church based in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. We are in fellowship with Assemblies of God in the UK. We are a welcoming church that exists to give everyone the opportunity of understanding the gospel, where all can grow in their relationship with God and develop their gifts for the glory of God.
During the current COVID-19 outbreak there will be no public worship services at New Life Pentecostal Church.
However, we will be broadcasting live on our Facebook page (New LIfe Pentecostal Church - Hemel Hempstead) and Youtube (New Life Pentecostal Church - Hemel Hempstead Online Church) on Sunday at 10:30 am.
There will be a time of prayer, Bible readings, a message and an opportunity to share communion (supply your own bread and wine/juice). We hope you will be able to join us online this Sunday.
If you have a prayer request please use the prayer request form on our Contact us page.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Guidance
We have continued to closely monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and, following advice from Public Health England, Assemblies of God and the Church of England among others, we are taking appropriate steps to ensure we keep our congregation, staff, connect/fellowship groups, as safe as possible.
This means that until further notice there will be no Church meetings either in the building or in homes.
Please try to look out for one another and make phone contact to check that all is well. If you are self-isolating please let us know so that we can meaningfully pray for you.
Take the opportunity of enforced rest to read God's word and faith-filled Christian books. Listen to worship music and sing to the Lord. Check out our resources page that has links to downloadable Bible study notes, audio recordings of past sermons, Sunday School ideas and sermon outlines. We will be looking to add more content in the coming days.
STATEMENT ON RACISM
At NLPC we affirm that there is no place for racism or discrimination within our fellowship. We have all been created equally by the Lord and we continue to strive to ensure that any form of discriminatory actions or words will have no place in our church. As a church we celebrate our rich diversity, mutual love, respect and care. We continue to learn from God's Word and from one another what it means to be a child of God.
We trust that we can move forward together with the help of the Holy Spirit to see an end to injustice and prejudice in God's world.
Our national leader has posted the following statement on the Assemblies of God website that we fully endorse.
The text reads as follows:
